DobroDesk Help Center

Connect an address on your domain

Receive and reply from your real support address without Gmail or Outlook.

Usually 10-20 minutes after domain approvalUpdated

What you'll achieve

Customer email arrives in DobroDesk and replies come from your support domain.

Before you start

  • Use a domain that is eligible for the DobroDesk custom-domain private beta.
  • Keep access to the email address where DobroDesk will send the verification message.
  • Use a workspace owner or admin account in DobroDesk.

During private beta a DobroDesk platform operator approves the domain for the workspace. This prevents one workspace from claiming another customer's sender domain.

Request the support domain

  1. Open Admin > Channels > Support mailboxes and select Another support address.

  2. Enter the complete address, for example support@example.com and the sender name customers should see.

  3. Select Connect address. DobroDesk records the domain request without activating email yet.

Wait for domain approval

  1. DobroDesk checks that the domain can use authenticated sending and incoming routing.

  2. A platform operator assigns the verified domain to your workspace.

  3. Return to the setup when the domain status changes to approved.

You do not need to share credentials for your domain account or give DobroDesk access to change DNS records.

Complete both delivery checks

  1. Return to the support address setup and select Check setup.

  2. Confirm that the DobroDesk sending verification message reaches your account.

  3. Send a new message to the support address from an unrelated email account.

  4. Open mailbox diagnostics and confirm that Inbox and Outbox are both healthy.

What DobroDesk configures

  • Replies use the support address as From and Reply-To.
  • In-Reply-To and References keep replies in the customer's existing email thread.
  • Outgoing email is signed for the verified domain and delivery failures are recorded in mailbox diagnostics.
  • DobroDesk keeps the address inactive if the domain belongs to another workspace or sending verification fails.
